Unless otherwise noted, Rev Blacksheep music, videos, lyrics, artwork, and branded media are released under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license, and this page explains how it applies in practice and how Rev Blacksheep content may be shared and used.

You may share the original work noncommercially with proper credit, but you may not alter, remix, sell, or use it for commercial or promotional purposes without permission. Commercial broadcast and streaming are permitted only via properly licensed platforms.

Sharing

Noncommercial sharing is allowed

You may share the official, unmodified work noncommercially with proper attribution to Rev Blacksheep as outlined below.

  • Share links to pages on the official website rather than directly to downloadable files.
  • Share links to official songs, videos, artist pages, or platform releases (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube).
  • Use the original audio through official platform features (e.g., TikTok sounds, Instagram reels, YouTube embeds) that preserve attribution.

Please avoid uploading, hosting, or redistributing the work as a new or independent source. Platform-level monetization does not grant additional rights to reuse or create derivative works. The work must remain unchanged and properly attributed.

Church use

Internal church or ministry use allowed

Churches and ministries are welcome to use the work in internal, in-person ministry settings, including:

  • Play the official recording in a service or class.
  • Sing or perform the songs in worship settings.
  • Use the music in sermons, teaching, or ministry gatherings.
  • Share official posts or links with your group or congregation.

Incidental inclusion in a livestream or recording of a worship service in its entirety is permitted, provided the work is not extracted or presented as a standalone piece. For standalone broadcast or distribution of the work itself, please share official sources when possible. Commercial broadcast or distribution requires appropriate licensing.

Attribution

Give credit to Rev Blacksheep

When sharing, include this credit where reasonable, or rely on platform-native attribution (such as TikTok sounds, Instagram reels, or YouTube embeds), which already preserves attribution.

Commercial use is restricted

  • Radio play and streaming are permitted through platforms operating under valid performance licenses (e.g., radio stations, streaming services).
  • No use in ads, promotions, or branded content.
  • No film, podcast, or long-form sync use.
  • No reuploads or other monetized use in videos, social media, or channel content.
Identity

Name, image, and likeness restricted

The Rev Blacksheep name, voice, likeness, logo, and identity are not licensed.

  • Do not impersonate or represent yourself as Rev Blacksheep.
  • Do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
  • Do not reuse branding in a misleading or commercial way.
  • No imitation, cloning, or use of identity for promotion.
Creator Rights

Other rights reserved

  • Rev Blacksheep retains the right to distribute and monetize this content.
  • Commercial licensing may be granted at the discretion of Rev Blacksheep.
  • Rev Blacksheep does not consent to use of this content for training, fine-tuning, or improving AI systems or models.
